How to get paid from Etsy in Pakistan in 2026

For years the first question from every new seller here was the same: can I even get paid? The answer is yes. Etsy lists Pakistan among the countries where Etsy Payments works through a linked Payoneer account, so you can open a shop under your own name and be paid properly.

How the money moves

1. A buyer pays Etsy.
2. Etsy takes its fees and keeps the rest in your payment account.
3. On your deposit day, Etsy sends the balance to your linked Payoneer account in US dollars.
4. From Payoneer you withdraw to your Pakistani bank account in rupees.

Setting it up

• Open your Payoneer account first, using the same name that is on your CNIC.
• When Etsy asks you to set up Etsy Payments, choose to connect your Payoneer account.
• Use your real details everywhere. The name on Etsy, on Payoneer and on your bank account should match.
• Finish every verification step that Etsy and Payoneer ask for before you publish listings.

Things that catch people out

• First deposits on a new shop can be slower while Etsy reviews the account. Plan for that and do not panic.
• Payoneer has its own withdrawal fee and its own exchange rate. Look at both inside your Payoneer account so the amount in rupees does not surprise you.
• Never open a shop with someone else's identity or account. It is the quickest way to lose the shop for good.
