Privacy policy

This policy explains what M-ListDrop collects when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

M-ListDrop is an independent business based in Pakistan. It offers free digital product starter kits and guides for online sellers. Post a question in the forum and we will reply there.

What we collect

• Nothing is required to browse or download. You do not need an account.
• Email address, if you choose to give it. When you download a product you may add an email to hear about new products. If you sign in, we use your email to send the sign-in link. If you ask a forum question as a guest, you may leave an email to be told about answers.
• Profile details, if you sign in and add them: display name, city and Etsy shop link.
• What you post: forum questions and answers, product requests, reviews, and Etsy listing links you submit.
• Usage information: pages viewed, the page you came from, and clicks on copy and download buttons. To count visitors we store a random id in your browser. It does not contain your name or email.
• Analytics and session replays: we use PostHog to see how the site is used, including clicks, scrolling and anonymous recordings of visits, so we can fix confusing pages. Anything you type is hidden in recordings, and PostHog is set to discard internet addresses.
• Download limits: to keep downloads fair we store a one-way scrambled version of your internet address with each guest download. We do not store the address itself.

Cookies and browser storage

• A cookie that remembers your downloads on this device.
• A cookie that keeps you signed in, if you sign in.
• A cookie for your language choice.
• A random visitor id in your browser's storage, used for visit counts.
• PostHog's analytics cookie, which holds a random id for your visits.

We do not use advertising cookies on the site today. PostHog is used for analytics only, not for advertising. If we add advertising or measurement tools from companies such as Google or Meta, we will update this page first and say which ones.

How we use information

• To provide downloads and keep each product limited to one seller.
• To send emails you asked for. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which products and pages are useful.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. It is stored with the service providers that run the site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and sign-in) and PostHog (analytics). They process it on our behalf. Like all hosting services, they keep standard server logs, which include internet addresses, for security and reliability. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep account and download records while the site operates. Ask us to delete your email, account or posts and we will do so, unless we must keep something by law.

Your choices

• Download without giving an email.
• Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion.
• Clear the site's cookies in your browser to remove the device id. Downloads made on that device will no longer be shown to you.

Children

M-ListDrop is meant for adults who sell online. It is not directed at children under 16.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
